USO Korea hosted the 49th Annual Six Star Service Salute Gala
Service Members from the US, Republic of Korea, and UN were specially selected by their commanders to receive the “Six Star” for exemplary performance and demonstrated leadership potential. The program consisted of a Leadership Luncheon with guest speakers Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Jack Love, CSM (Retired) Steven Payton, and Major General (Retired) Lee, Seo-Young, an overnight stay in the gorgeous Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas hotel, and a black-tie banquet. The keynote speaker this year was the Honorable US Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Mr. Philip S. Goldberg. Many other high-ranking military officers, diplomats, business leaders, and over 500 others attended the memorable event, including the USO Indo-Pacific Regional Vice President, Mr. Scott P. Maskery.
